Should make for some more interesting work there. I have never got into Swift 3d as a result of lacking the desire to learn the other 3d tools.
For that matter, I am not much of a GA, so anything to rapidly make 3d Flash a bit more interesting and usable for me is a good thing. Or at least thats the hope

I am not the biggest Swift Developer, but about once or twice a year, a project comes along where it is needed, and the consensus I always come to, is that Advanced Modeling is MUCH needed… I am not a 3d artist, and thus I dont know anything other than Swift 3d. The interfaces of the others are just so complex, what with the middle mouse plus ctrl plus alt F, etc…

up to now, it’s been like this: plasma for modelling, swift3d for rendering. I think the new version will kill plasma (or make discreet improve their plasma rendering).
