Macromedia Product Activation

As you may have noticed, Macromedia has introduced Product Activation into their latest version of Contribute, version 2 (see press release here). If you ask me, Product Activation has actually gone over quite well in other apps (ie – Windows XP). It looks like it is a pretty easy process. Check out Mike Chambers blog, he has a bunch of links to documentation on the EULA, and Product Activation. At least they are learning from other company’s mistakes and are trying to be upfront about everything.
