Goodbye Webmonkey

Last week, WebMonkey announced that it would be shutting its doors following a round of layoffs in its parent company Terra Lycos. This is a sad day for me. I remember spending nights on end years ago, just reading through the articles on Webmonkey, trying my hardest to learn HTML, Javascript, and Photoshop.

Dont get me wrong, I havent seen a lot of new and inspiring content from Webmonkey, but I hope that the archives will be left up to inspire newcomers to the field. Goodbye Webmonkey :(
