3d Studio Max to be revealed at Siggraph

Discreet announced today, that they will reveal the newest release of 3d Studio Max to the public, at SigGraph 2002. 2 of the newest features/upgrades are the attention to Realism, and Productivity. Now, I must admit, I am the novice user of 3dSM, but it seems that the sample images you will find at the link below, are of much better quality than those of previous version I have seen.
